We will see the results of two interventions:
- the mural ‘I want to live in peace / Я хочу жити в мирі’ by Yana Makukh
- the installation in the display window: Antos Sivyh's ‘Window in Motion’ poem forms
Afterwards, you will be able to take part in an open workshop on visual writing and Wierszaformy. Antos Sivyh will share his creative method with us and show us how (and why) to turn words into form, how to use rhythm, scale and silence. We will create our own Poem Forms: some of them you will be able to take with you, and some will go to our window. Poem Forms are meant to connect people, bring warmth and help tell stories about one's own experiences.
Workshop format (drop-in): drop in at any time between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. You can work as much as you want and leave when you're done. You don't have to be there from the beginning or stay until the end.
We will have books of poems on site that you can use for inspiration. You can choose a poem from these books or bring your favourite poem and turn it into your own Poemform.
