    → 23 and 24 March
    → 20 and 21 April
    → 11 and 12 May
    → 15 and 16 June
    FINAL 20 June
During the Youth Lab, you will learn various techniques, tools, and artistic strategies in the field of performing arts, such as dance, choreography, stage movement, music, performance, and theater. We will focus on stage presence, movement, and ensemble singing, building relationships on the stage and in the space. Additionally, we will delve into the text, movement composition, dramaturgy, and the structure of stage action. You’ll also gain insights into the difference between choreography and stage movement, theater and performance, actor and performer, sound, and music.
We will engage with the body and voice, and the direction we take depends on you. Together, we’ll discuss your interests, inspirations, anger, and frustrations. Each weekend of the month will be dedicated to different topics, with the overarching goal of collectively creating an artistic action that combines movement/dance, singing/sound, and theater/performance. Towards the end of our project, we will collaboratively work on our final performative action, which we’ll present in front of an audience in a public space.
The main objective of this project is to establish a secure environment for inclusive cultural exchanges. It will function as a platform for group conversations and sharing life experiences. Significantly, it involves individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, coming together to form a temporary community around this project. We aim to create a space where we feel safe, and supported, and can engage in discussions, debates, and inspiration. We want it to be a space that encourages not-knowing, uncertainty, and experimentation.
