Description
Courage, Freedom, Imagination is a project by the Strefa WolnoSłowa (FreeWord Zone), through which we aim to expand the group of migrant artists collaborating with our organization. For years, the primary focus of Strefa has been creative work with intergenerational groups of people from diverse cultural backgrounds, varying in their previous involvement in artistic initiatives. We are inspired by the exchange of stories, working with biographies, collectively searching for forms for narratives and experiences, initiating participatory processes, and creating spaces for meeting and diversity.
Courage, Freedom, Imagination includes an open call for artists, tool-based workshops for those interested in leading workshops and initiating events with intercultural communities, as well as workshop processes and an intergenerational creative laboratory for young people.
Courage, Freedom, Imagination is a program in which we delve into the titular concepts. We want the projects undertaken to develop sensitivity, imagination, the ability to collaborate, and courage both in the participants and in the initiators of the activities. These goals will be pursued through various creative forms: workshops, walks, knowledge exchange, performative events, mutual support, and inspiration.
