Are you familiar with the Hollywood film ‘Planet of the Apes’?
I now have the film ‘Planet of Women’ in my life .
Refugee...
For me it was a word from TV news or documentaries. Is it now me?
I thought about it when I stood in line at the Ukrainian-Polish border. I looked over, my husband and all the other husbands were standing behind the net. Because men are not allowed to go further, because men are not allowed to go across the border. Men brought their wives and children to the border to save them from the war.
War is a men's business. And from that moment for me the world of men was left behind. And I was moving forward.
I looked around and saw that all around me were women. Women and children.
I landed on the Planet of Women. I had never had so many women around me. I was used to counting on my husband.
I used to rely on my husband, my father, and my friends. I didn't know how I would manage myself and my children alone in a foreign country, in a foreign language.
But at that critical moment, I felt the power of femininity.
In Poland, I was surrounded by women.
And at a certain point, I realised that the Women's Planet, where I found myself, began to heal and heal me.
We will talk about this feminine support in the performance Planet of Women
