Create and imagine with us a Plants’ Manifest. We invite you to participate in a three-day intensive workshop with Strefa WolnoSłowa multidisciplinary team based on movement, improvisation with body and space, on creation of the written forms, storytelling by different art forms and on elaboration of sounds and music. Inspired by the world of plants, by different texts, sounds and important socio-political events we would like to explore what we can learn from plants today and how we can use these skills, abilities and knowledge in the common reflection on the world today. We are going to propose to you a format in which to create and improvise for then together to prepare a performative journey through sound, space and movements.
The workshop will be held on 8, 9, 10 July from 18.00 to 21.00 in Salus Space.
The meeting on the 10th July will be concluded with the public performance.
That open call is aimed at individuals living in or around Bologna regardless of their background, religion, sexual orientation or gender identity, knowledge or lack of knowledge of Italian and/or English, and stage skills or experience.
We all live in a bubble. Admittedly, it is stuffy and unbearable in the bubble – but we live in it nonetheless. Outside the bubble, there is something – an entire world, the Kingdom of Plants without a king or master, without human hierarchy, with tree crowns instead of crowned heads.
