Are you an artist involved in theatre, film, photography, music, writing, or crafts? Have you worked professionally in the arts in your home country but haven’t had the chance in Poland? Do you want to organize a cultural event or build a community through art? Whether you’re sharing your work or supporting others, we can help!

Each participant will receive a micro-grant of PLN 3,000. You will also get a chance to implement your project and attend workshops on project planning, execution, and communication on November 16 and 17 in Warsaw.

The program will conclude with a meeting with all participants presenting the resulting initiatives on March 2, 2025, also in Warsaw.

Once again – performance

On the occasion of World Refugee Day, we invite you to the final of the multicultural creative workshop Asylum Warsaw 2023.

RAZ JESZCZE / ONCE AGAIN – a performance ending 5 months of intercultural and intergenerational work by a group of creatives with (and without) migration experience!

Description

On the ruins of an old, imperfect yet nostalgically familiar world, a team of builders stands. They look around, hesitating and being cautious, contemplating where to start.

The construction site is primarily engulfed in silence. From the debris, memories of hustle and bustle and a leisurely, not always perfect and visually pleasing life emerge. Shyly, occasional voices break the silence, painful whispers of the past, memories of small happiness, testifying that there was something before the reconstruction.

Where to begin? Where to seek strength and inspiration? What is worth rebuilding? Are we rebuilding or continuously building anew? “Raz jeszcze” – once again.

The premiere of the play will take place on 24 June at 7.30pm at the Powszechny Theatre → TICKETS ARE HERE
