STAGE LIGHTING COURSE for begginers / 24 i 25 November 2018, 10.00 – 14.00 / Stół Powszechny

The purpose of this stage lighting course is to inspire and encourage people who have never been stage technicians or lighting technicians to pursue these professions. Participants will learn about stage lighting equipment – theatre lighting equipment in particular, get familiar with stage control systems, and understand how people can communicate with equipment.

The course is divided into two parts. The first part is theoretical with practical elements; participants will learn, among other things, about the responsibilities of a lighting technician, what you need to become a lighting technician, and what is inside the lighting equipment.

The second part is strictly practical; participants will get to know all the stages in the Powszechny Theatre in Warsaw and the equipment used during the work on the performances.

This course is for beginners without any experience in stage lighting, adressed especially to migrants and refugees living in Warsaw.

Workshop is run by the light director of Teatr Powszechny Piotr Pieczyński.
